Peak 7 Residential Area
The "Peak 7" area is comprised of about a dozen small subdivisions adjoining each other, with the outer edges of the subdivisions backing to national forest. This neighborhood is about 2 miles north of the Base of Peak 8 (Breck Ski Area) but is also accessed off of Airport Road. Some of the individual subdivision names include: Discovery, Shadows, Ponderosa, Miners Ridge, Ridge Crest, Crestwoods and Winterwood. Locally, we refer to this residential area as "Peak 7", and it should not be confused the the Breck Ski Area known as Peak 7 - as the crow flies, these two "Peak 7's" are separated by about two miles.
