Incorporated towns in Summit County:

Breckenridge:  an historic town as well as a ski area, located ten miles south of Frisco and 75 miles west of Denver.

Frisco: an historic mining town, surrounded by Lake Dillon on it's eastern flank, and national forest everywhere else.

Dillon: located on the northern shores of Lake Dillon; home to the exciting summer sailing regattas.

Silverthorne: sister city to Dillon, known for its great selection of shopping outlets.

Blue River: south of Breckenridge, surrounded by national forest and covered with hiking trails.

Off the beaten track........

Heeney: a small village on the shores of Green Mountain Reservoir (the water-skiing mecca of the Summit). Cabins and homes in Heeney are not often on the market; if this area is of interest to you, let Susan know.
